Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of CloudVaults. By accessing or using our application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Description of Service

CloudVaults provides a web-based, unified console interface that allows users to connect, manage, view, transfer, and synchronize files across their personal storage provider accounts, including:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 Buckets
  • Google Cloud Storage (GCS) Buckets
  • Google Drive Storage

All integration parameters (such as API keys, OAuth tokens, and secret credentials) are supplied directly by the user to establish direct API interactions with those services.

2. User Accounts & Storage Provider Credentials

To utilize the services, you must connect valid storage provider accounts. You agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for obtaining the appropriate permissions, security keys, and OAuth grants for any storage vaults you link.
  • You will not supply incorrect, revoked, or unauthorized credentials that violate any third-party policies.
  • You are responsible for configuring proper read/write permissions on your buckets/drives to prevent unintended modification or data deletion.

3. Service Limitations & Data Transmission

CloudVaults acts as a client-facing intermediary console. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • CloudVaults does not own, control, or permanently host any of the files stored in your connected storage vaults.
  • Data transfers (such as downloading, previewing, or copying files across providers) rely directly on the availability, speed, and API limits of your respective storage provider services (AWS, Google).
  • Any bandwidth fees, request rates, or storage charges accrued on your AWS or Google Cloud accounts remain your sole financial responsibility.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CloudVaults and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Any data loss, corruption, or accidental deletion of files in your connected AWS, GCS, or Google Drive accounts.
  • The temporary or permanent interruption, suspension, or termination of connection to Google or AWS APIs.
  • Unauthorized access to your credentials resulting from user negligence (e.g. sharing your master login details).
